lyrics
The stonemason
Carves the stone
The druid points to
Capricornus
The symbols of our time
Etched into eternity
A relic of our history
Left to become a mystery
As a new dawn comes
The past is gone
Repurposed and recycled
Until it's meaning is none
Born from the decay
Of collapsing stars
Capricornus reigns
Above the Winter's sky
The Druid
Ignites the Clavie
The flames we ignite
Illuminate the darkened night
A tradition
Older than any book
Passed through the generations
Refusing to be lost
A part of our history
Never written never taught
Thousands of years
Preserved without text
A right of passage
Of which secrets are not shared
Keepers of Ancient Knowledge
Told only amongst ourselves
Yet when we rot
The atoms that bound us
Break and transcend
Across the galaxy
As we enter taciturnity
The atoms that makes us
They do not break
They are the seeds
From which tomorrow
Is crafted and born
The broken arrow and the crescent
Remind us that we came
From the skies we live
And return when we die
The double disc represents
The Torch Bearers of your flame
As above so below
Born of stone to kill the bull
We came from the stars
We live we die we decay
The cycle repeats as we transcend into
Eviternity
The beast we leave on our stones
Is the sea-goat Ea, Enki, Pan
Marking the darkest day
Longest night before the dawn

This album is SO GOOD! Truly a hidden gem. I love everything about this album, from the acoustic guitar playing to the gritty vocals. Kick ass metal album. DFusion

I'd say Havukruunu is the rightful holder of the Crown and the mantle of Quorthon. Epic choirs, vikingesque themes and tales from the other times, of the Finnish paganism back in the days before our ancestors were brought to the cross and forced to kneel while feeling the bloody sword of saviour on their throats made to kiss the hand of murderers who burnt thousands, tore down our holy places and took our holy days. Eyes teary I listen to these songs, never forgiving the crimes of the cross! Peikonmieli
Tokyo band contrast black metal's brutal complexity with shoegaze's abyssal grandeur, resulting in an LP that feels crushing, yet infinite. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 24, 2022

Absolutely strong, black and bitter, like a cup of good old coffee or a properly packed pipe of strong tobacco. The album won't let you go unless you listen through it since the very first minute to the very last one, sunken in the frozen obsydian abyss. 10/10. lanserger22
